Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies to payments for SeenShot collected by Codemarket OÜ. It follows the same 14-day window used on code.market. EU/UK consumer law still applies where it is more favorable to you.
1. Free Mac app
The SeenShot DMG is free. There is nothing to refund for downloading or using local capture, annotation, and Save. Cloud Share Link on the Free quota (10 MB) is also unpaid.
2. Member (USD 29 / year)
Member is USD 29 per year for 1 GB screenshot storage on top of Free. Checkout is processed by Polar.
If you are charged for Member:
- Email support@code.market from the same address as your SeenShot account.
- Include the Polar receipt or the last four digits and the charge date if you have them.
- Ask for a refund within 14 days of the charge.
We do not operate a self-serve SeenShot billing portal on seenshot.app. Refunds are handled by email. Polar refunds typically return to the original payment method; bank timing is outside our control.
3. EU/EEA/UK consumers (digital content)
If you are a consumer, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations). For digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, that right can end once performance starts if you gave prior express consent and acknowledged that you would lose the right. SeenShot checkout does not currently show a separate “I waive withdrawal” checkbox. If you paid and you are an EU/UK consumer, contact support@code.market. We will honor mandatory withdrawal and refund rules that apply to your purchase. You also keep any other non-waivable consumer remedies (including for lack of conformity).
4. United States
If you paid and you request a refund within 14 days, we will refund the SeenShot Member charge described above. Chargebacks should be a last resort; email us first so we can match the Polar payment. State-specific cancellation rights still apply where they cannot be waived.
5. After a refund
If Member storage was actually enabled for your account, we may return the account to the Free 10 MB cap after a refund. Cloud PNGs above 10 MB may then be removed oldest-first. Delete the account in SeenShot Settings if you want all cloud data removed.
6. No refund needed
Failed or duplicate Polar charges: email us. We will not refund a charge we never collected. We will not refund a different Codemarket product bought on code.market under this SeenShot policy; use code.market’s own refund process for those orders.
